Intro. to Digital Photography
This workshop is aimed at the Art teacher who wants to learn how to use Photoshop skills in their department [or for those wanting to brush up on Photoshop skills], but any teacher using photographs would find it a useful introduction.

We cover the basic skills including scanning and printing and many practical implications for integrating digital photography into Art. On request we can spend time considering projects in Art lessons, and/or how to introduce students to learning about cameras.

I use Photoshop Elements on the day because it is simple [I supply a 30 day copy]. The principles of Digital photography manipulation are fairly common across the range of photo- editing software.

I have presented this course in Schools and can tailor the day to your requirements.

I will provide exemplars and software on CDRom. I supply a booklet with ideas and tutorials.

You will need to bring a laptop [with administrative password rights], and perhaps a digital camera, and a memory stick.

Suitable for PC or Mac users [NB Mac users should have a copy of Photoshop installed].
