Blogging workshop

The Educational uses of Blogs and Blogging -
for Teachers & Students - e-Blogging

I run a day course on making and using Blogs for Educational uses in all N.C. Subjects - esp. History, Geography, English, MFL, Science, D&T.

Blogs are easy to use and form a great platform for the storage and display of course content. Blogs are soon to become the favoured platform for Students to store and display their homework and coursework.
Blogs can be used creatively to encourage students to engage and publish their ideas, at any age.

During the day you will:

   * be introduced to the world of Blogging
   * make and design an educational blogsite
   * explore the potential for student Blogs.
   * learn how to manage student Blogs
   * consider e-Portfolios

We will import text, photos and embed/link video & audio.

This course will prepare you for placing your homework and coursework resources online quickly and easily.

You will need a laptop with potential for connecting to the Internet [wi-fi etc].

I will supply you with a booklet and CD Rom with exemplars, resources and software.
